1.LED electronic display chip inspection:
whether there are mechanical damage and pockmarks on the material surface, whether the chip size and electrode size meet the process requirements, and whether the electrode pattern is complete.
2.LED electronic road sign expansion:
Because the LED electronic display chips are still closely arranged after scribing, the space is very small (about 0.1 mm), which is not conducive to the operation of the later process. We use a chip expander to expand the film of bonding chips, and the spacing of LED chips is stretched to about 0.6 mm. Manual expansion can also be used, but it is easy to cause bad problems such as chip drop and waste.

6.LED large screen automatic mounting;
In fact, automatic mounting is a combination of two steps: gluing (dispensing) and chip installation. First, silver glue (insulating glue) is applied on the LED bracket, and then the LED chip is sucked up and moved by the vacuum nozzle, and then placed on the corresponding bracket position. In the process of automatic mounting, it is necessary to be familiar with the equipment operation programming, and adjust the gluing and installation accuracy of the equipment. In the selection of suction nozzle, try to use bakelite suction nozzle to prevent damage to the surface of LED chip, especially the blue and green chips must use bakelite. Because the steel nozzle will scratch the current diffusion layer on the chip surface.
7.Led sintering:
the purpose of sintering is to solidify the silver glue. Sintering requires displaying the temperature to prevent bad batch. The sintering temperature of silver glue is generally controlled at 150 ℃ and the sintering time is 2 hours. It can be adjusted to 170 ℃ for 1 hour according to the actual situation. Insulation glue is generally 150 ℃ for 1 hour. The silver glue sintering oven must be opened every 2 hours (or 1 hour) according to the process requirements to replace the sintered products, and the middle should not be opened at will. Sintering oven can not be used for other purposes to prevent pollution.
8.Led pressure welding:
the purpose of pressure welding is to lead the electrode to the LED chip to complete the connection of internal and external leads of the product.There are two kinds of welding technology for LED display screen: gold wire ball welding and aluminum wire welding.First solder the first point on the LED chip electrode, then pull the aluminum wire to the corresponding bracket, solder the second point, and then tear the aluminum wire.In the process of gold wire ball welding, a ball is burned before pressing the first point, and the other processes are similar. Pressure welding is a key link in the packaging technology of LED large screen,The main process to be displayed is the shape of the arch wire, the shape of the solder joint and the tension.
9.Led molded package:
put the press welded LED large screen bracket into the mold,press and combine the upper and lower dies with hydraulic press and vacuum,put the solid epoxy into the entrance of the injection channel for heating, and press it into the mold channel with a hydraulic ejector,the epoxy resin enters each LED forming groove along the glue path and solidifies.
10.LED curing and post curing:
curing refers to the curing of encapsulation epoxy. Generally, the curing condition of epoxy is 135 ℃ for 1 hour. The molding temperature is 150 ℃ for 4 minutes. Post curing is to allow the epoxy to fully cure, while the LED thermal aging. Post curing is very important to improve the bonding strength between epoxy and PCB. The general condition is 120 ℃ for 4 hours.
11.LED cutting tendons and dicing:
Due to the fact that led displays are connected together (not individually) in production, lamp packaged led adopts rib cutting to cut off the rib of LED bracket. Smd-led is on a PCB board, which needs dicing machine to complete the separation work.
12.LED test:
Test the photoelectric parameters of LED, check the overall dimensions, and sort the LED electronic display products according to the requirements of customers.

3.Design current value:
the nominal current of LED is 20mA, and it is generally recommended that the maximum current should not exceed 80% of the nominal value, especially for the display screen with small point spacing, the current value should be reduced due to poor heat dissipation conditions. According to the experience, due to the inconsistency of attenuation speed of red, green and blue LEDs, the current value of blue and green LEDs should be reduced to maintain the consistency of white balance after long-term use.
4.Mixed light:
LED with the same color and different brightness level needs mixed light, or the light insertion diagram designed according to the discrete law is used to insert light, so as to ensure the consistency of brightness of each color in the whole screen. If there is a problem in this process, the local brightness of the display will be inconsistent, which will directly affect the display effect of the LED display.
5.Control the perpendicularity of the lamp:
for the plug-in led, there should be enough technology to ensure that the LED is perpendicular to the PCB. Any deviation will affect the LED brightness consistency that has been set, and the color block with inconsistent brightness will appear.
6.The temperature and time of wave front welding must be strictly controlled:
the temperature and time of wave front welding are recommended as follows: the preheating temperature is 100 ℃± 5 ℃, the maximum temperature is not more than 120 ℃, and the preheating temperature rise is required to be stable, the welding temperature is 245 ℃± 5 ℃, and the welding time is recommended not more than 3 seconds. After passing the furnace, avoid vibration or shock led until it returns to normal temperature. The temperature parameters of wave soldering machine should be detected regularly, which is determined by the characteristics of LED. Overheating or fluctuating temperature will directly damage led or cause hidden trouble of LED quality, especially for small size such as 3mm Round and Oval LED.
7.False soldering control:
when the LED is not on, there is often more than 50% probability that it is caused by various types of false soldering, such as LED pin false soldering, IC pin false soldering, pin and bus false soldering, etc. These problems need to be solved by strictly improving the process and strengthening the quality inspection. The vibration test before delivery is also a good inspection method.
8.Heat dissipation design:
when LED works, it will generate heat. If the temperature is too high, it will affect the attenuation speed and stability of LED. Therefore, the heat dissipation design of PCB board and the ventilation and heat dissipation design of box will affect the performance of LED.
